One Night as Cinderella.
Paris. A spring evening… the kind where Paris smells like blooming chestnut trees and warm bread. The Seine is doing its thing — quietly showing off. People are walking home with baguettes tucked under their arms like it's a movie prop, except it's just Tuesday in France. Somewhere nearby, a waiter is pretending he doesn't speak English, and honestly, I respect the commitment.
I’m entering a stunning private space in the heart of the city — all high ceilings, soft golden light, and the kind of effortless French elegance that makes you stand a little taller when you walk in. The room was filled with some of the sharpest minds in tech, AI, and innovation. The kind of people whose companies you read about in the morning news.
And then there was me. A girl from a small town in Poland. In Paris. At a private dinner hosted by Jensen Huang.
Yes. That Jensen Huang.
I've followed Jensen for years. Not just as the man who built NVIDIA into one of the most important companies on the planet — but as a leader. Someone who has consistently built, scaled, and inspired his team through decades of reinvention. The kind of CEO who still gets excited when he talks about what's next. You can see it in his eyes at every GTC keynote. That's not performance. That's belief.
So when I shook his hand, I wasn't just meeting a tech legend. I was standing in front of proof that vision, persistence, and genuine care for your team can take you anywhere.
His handshake felt like silent support. And a powerful push to keep going.
Here's the thing about moments like this. They feel surreal. You're standing in a room in Paris, holding a glass of champagne, talking to people who are literally shaping the future of artificial intelligence — and a tiny voice in the back of your head whispers: How did I get here?
I'll tell you how. By building something real. By refusing to give up on Alterland when it would have been easier to stop. By betting on VR and AI for remote work before it was trendy. And by being part of the NVIDIA Inception programme — an ecosystem Jensen talks about at every GTC, and one I'm incredibly proud to belong to.
Being in that room wasn't luck. But it sure felt like magic.
Every Cinderella story has a midnight moment. Mine was the flight home. Back to reality. Back to the daily grind of building a startup, leading a team, being a mum, being a wife, answering emails at 6 AM.
But here's what's different after a night like that. You carry it with you. Not the champagne or the venue or the glamour, but the quiet confirmation that you're on the right path. That the biggest names in the industry see what you're building and think it matters.
I'm deeply grateful to Jensen and the entire NVIDIA Inception team for the invitation and the ongoing support. Being part of this ecosystem isn't just an honour.
It's a responsibility.
And I don't take it lightly.
Alterland 🚀
Written somewhere between Paris and home. Because that's how this remote CEO thing works.
