ABOUT Dorota
I'm a remote CEO, founder, business trainer, mum, and wife. I run my company from wherever life takes me — and that's exactly the point.
For 18 years, I've led teams across industries most leadership gurus have never set foot in — retail floors, fitness centers, beauty brands, automotive operations. Not Silicon Valley. Real businesses with real margins, real turnover, and real people. I've managed teams from 4 to 500+ people and made every management mistake in the book.
For eight years, through my consulting company Can Do! Consulting, I trained hundreds of leaders — helping managers stop faking productivity and start building teams that actually perform.
Today I run Alterland, a VR and AI platform reimagining how remote teams connect — part of the NVIDIA Inception programme. I also help companies navigate digital transformation in HR through PersonaLine.
I hold an MA, an MBA, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology in Business — and I'm still hoping to finish my PhD in management. But I don't believe credentials make leaders. Experience does. The degrees give me frameworks. The 18 years give me the scars that make those frameworks useful.
What I Stand For:
Remote work that actually works. I'm not theorizing about it from an office. I'm living it — running a company, raising a family, and travelling, all at the same time. Every week is proof that remote leadership, done right, gives you both performance and freedom.
The future of work is immersive. VR won't replace offices. It'll replace bad meetings. That's what I'm building at Alterland.
Honesty over polish. I roast fake productivity, call out leadership BS, and share the failures nobody puts on LinkedIn. If you want motivational quotes, I'm not your person. If you want the truth, pull up a chair.
Performance without burnout. I biohack, I lead by example, and I believe the best leaders are the ones willing to say "I got this wrong" before anyone else has to point it out.
I'm a mum, a wife, and a remote CEO — and I refuse to believe you have to sacrifice one to have the others. Remote work isn't a perk. It's a leadership strategy.
